A real problem on this 2017 M8 was the heat. It would get so fucking hot it would burn the wife's ankle and distort the chrome! I tried everything to blunt the heat but it stayed a problem. Went with a catless header, moved the boards away from the pipe, etc. Nothing seemed to work. When it cooled down the chrome came back to seamless normal.
