If you send somebody on this Forum a "Private Message" but see it sitting in the ""Outbox", typically you'd think that wasn't sent, but in this PHPBB software it just means the person you sent the PM to hasn't read it yet. When they read it it will now be moved to the "Sent" folder automatically.
Just a little quirk of the Forum software.
