12" Freedom Shields Splitter / Windshield

Post: # 141Post L2 »

It's been exactly a year (today) since I installed a 12" Light Grey wind splitter/windshield from Freedom Shields on my 24 RG.

There's so damn many to choose from these days but I'm glad I got this one right. It's NEVER seen any cleaner with ammonia (like Windex). The ONLY products I've ever used on it are microfiber towels and Sprayway Cleaner https://amzn.to/4kpnZ8p

It hasn't glazed, hasn't chipped, hasn't scratched, hasn't fogged. And in 10,000 miles or so it's taken quite a few sizable rock and splattered bug hits too. I am pleased. Not sure if the 15% code "CVO" still works, but it was a sizable discount back in the day.

Same one I'm running and love it. FS is all I've ran on my last couple of Sharks. Can't beat the quality.
OBB Aka Ohiobellboy Aka (insert your favorite adjective here) but most of all, fuck Frank!

I use a different shield, but also use a microfibre and Sprayway cleaner. However, I ceramic coated mine when I first got it and continue to add spray ceramic coating on it a few times every year; it really helps bug guts wipe right off easier
